We built a successful online video advertising business for Teads, a French start up, in the UK, Spain, Italy and Benelux. Acting as country Managing Directors we quickly secured virtually all the top names in publishing in these markets, then turned our attention to building demand with agencies, advertisers and trading desks. Alan gained wide experience of digital advertising sales and content marketing at The Economist, where he was first European Ad Director then Director of Operations & Director of Strategic Sales. Having set up his own company in January 2013 to bring ad tech companies to Europe, he signed Teads as a client. He signed up most of the UK’s top publishers, hired an ad sales team and won charter advertisers – both direct and programmatic – like Credit Suisse, Shell, Nestlé and Heinz.
Jean-François has extensive experience in the ad tech industry in the French and Spanish markets. He worked for international companies such as Teads and Tradedoubler, holding positions of Managing Director and Business Development Director. He also launched several businesses from scratch. He has a strong expertise in online performance based marketing solutions, adserving technologies, video and RTB.
Angelo is a marketing consultant and entrepreneur. After five years as Brand/Category Manager at Unilever and four as a consultant with McKinsey&Co he spent 15 years in digital: General Manager of Outrider (MEC Digital); founder of the web marketing agency Broadbrand and of two websites; and Italian partner of Undertone, Teads and Brightroll. Among his main clients: Unilever, Vodafone, Sky, Ferrari, Luxottica, Wind, Sony Pictures, Heineken and British Telecom.
Yan headed agency sales for Google, was ad director for two of the Netherlands premier newspaper groups, and played leading roles at a number of search and online video ventures. Like his fellow Eurostart Digital partners, Yan was Managing Director of his region for Teads.
